Levi’s Stadium shows, featuring eight multimedia towers weighing over 14 tons.
Jon-Michael Marino, Metallica’s tour coordinator, expressed excitement for the hometown shows, stating, “To me, some of the best shows on tour are the hometown shows, so the band is excited to be back.”
Metallica promises no repeats in the set list or opening acts for their two-night spectacular in the South Bay.
The band will perform for two hours each night on a circular stage with four different drum kits to provide fans with an up-close, personal experience.
The City of Santa Clara has set curfews for the shows at 11 p.m. on Friday and 10 p.m. on Sunday, expecting the performances to “fade to black” at those times.
