Roger Waters says he especially loves one song from Pink Floyd’s, “The Wall.”
In a new interview, Waters praised the song “Don’t Leave Me Now,” calling it one of his all-time favorites.
Waters clarified that the song is not autobiographical but based on his observations of relationships, saying, “It’s a very depressing song. I love it!”
“Don’t Leave Me Now” was released as a B-side to “Run Like Hell” and is featured in the film adaptation of “The Wall.”
Waters described the song as about “two people who have treated each other very badly” and acknowledged that it reflects some aspects of his own experiences.
Waters hoped that people could learn from the song, emphasizing the importance of writing about experiences that ring true and can touch others.
