After a 15-year hiatus from releasing new music, Mudvayne is officially back in the studio—and back in business. The band has signed with Alchemy Recordings, the powerhouse label founded by music industry icons Dino Paredes and Danny Wimmer, and home to hard rock heavyweights Staind and Chevelle. The upcoming release will mark Mudvayne’s sixth studio album and their first since 2009, signaling a major comeback for the nu-metal pioneers.
Frontman Chad Gray confirmed the news with fans in a video posted to Instagram during the Welcome To Rockville festival, creating immediate buzz across the rock world. Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of their influential debut L.D. 50, the band also announced a highly anticipated fall tour with Static-X and Vended.
With fresh energy, a new label, and a milestone celebration, Mudvayne is poised to reignite their legacy and remind fans why they were a defining force of early 2000s metal.
