The Jeremy Piven Live Comedy Tour is coming to the Bay Area in Napa this Saturday, May 17 at 8pm at the Uptown Theatre! Piven joined Lamont and Chasta on the Lamont show to preview his appearance, and share more than a few laughs with the crew.
You probably know Piven from his role as Ari Gold in Entourage. Lamont sure does. He and Piven joked about the iconic scene in which Piven gives a pep talk, then finishes with “Let’s hug it out bitch.”
“That role was completely written, brilliantly,” Piven prefaced. “And that was one of those moments where the scene was over, and I knew Kevin Connoly so I just said you wanna hug it out bitch? It had a great organic feel to it.”
Piven hails from Chicago, which naturally prompted Lamont to ask him if he knows the newly elected Pope Leo XIV, a windy city native himself.
“I don’t know the Pope, but I’m praying he has a hard core Chicago accent.”
