Alex Lifeson recently jammed with Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo of Metallica at his house in Toronto, describing the experience as remarkable and expressing enthusiasm for playing with such talented musicians.
Trujillo reflected on his teenage years playing Rush songs in backyard bands and the surreal experience of hanging out with his musical idol, Geddy Lee, during the filming of a TV documentary series.
Trujillo and Hammett performed a rendition of Rush’s “La Villa Strangiato” at a Metallica concert in Toronto, showcasing their admiration for the iconic band.
