Sammy Hagar’s first trip to Las Vegas in the late 1960s was a transformative experience where he met Frank Sinatra and even performed on stage with him.
Hagar recalls the encounter with Sinatra, stating, “I was just a kid, and I was in awe of him. He was the coolest guy in the world.”

The unexpected opportunity to perform with Sinatra left a lasting impression on Hagar, who reflected on the experience, saying, “I was scared to death, but I did it. And it was the greatest thing that ever happened to me.”
Hagar’s recent residency show in Las Vegas served as a poignant reminder of that pivotal moment in his life, bringing his journey full circle and highlighting the impact Sinatra had on him as a young musician.
