Bruce Springsteen has shared a previously unreleased a new song titled “Faithless” from his upcoming box set Tracks II: The Lost Albums.
“Faithless” was intended for a spiritual Western film that never materialized. Springsteen says “In Hollywood, I have found, you can disappear into ‘development’ for long periods of time.”
Most of the songs on the album were recorded by Springsteen himself, with contributions from members of The E Street Band, including Soozie Tyrell, Lisa Lowell, Curtis King, Jr., Michelle Moore, Ada Dyer, as well as his wife Patti Scialfa and his children Evan and Sam Springsteen.
Tracks II: The Lost Albums, set for release on June 27, includes seven previously unheard Springsteen albums, totaling 83 songs recorded between 1983 and 2018.
“Faithless” is currently available on digital platforms, and the box set can be preordered.
