The American Music Honors event, organized by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center, honored Smokey Robinson, John Fogerty, Emmylou Harris, Tom Morello, and Joe Ely, with performances by the honorees and surprise guests in front of a small audience of 714 people.

Bruce Springsteen personally delivered induction speeches for Joe Ely and John Fogerty at the event, and performed classic songs with Fogerty, Smokey Robinson, Jackson Browne, Tom Morello, and others.

The event featured a revival of some of the best moments from the 2004 Vote For Change tour, including Springsteen performing Creedence classics with John Fogerty and covering Joe Ely’s song “All Just to Get to You.”

The evening concluded with a performance of “This Land Is Your Land” featuring all the performers, including Darlene Love and Nora Guthrie, a song that has become a rarity in Springsteen’s recent shows.

Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a European tour with the E Street Band, release the collection “Tracks II: The Lost Albums,” and have a biopic titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere” focusing on the creation of the album “Nebraska” released later this year.
