Kerry King confirmed that Slayer will perform a Black Sabbath cover at Ozzy Osbourne and Sabbath’s final concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England.
The event will feature the original lineup of Black Sabbath playing together for the first time in 20 years, along with performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, and other bands.
Kerry King expressed excitement about the event, mentioning his friends playing Sabbath songs and his desire to see performances by Metallica, Pantera, and Lzzy Hale.
King revealed that if he could only take one Black Sabbath album with him, he would choose ‘Sabotage’ for its vibe and nonstop badassery.
Kerry King shared a personal experience meeting Tony Iommi, calling him the godfather of all this and expressing nervousness and admiration during their interaction.
