Rob Halford praised Judas Priest’s latest album, ‘Invincible Shield,’ calling it an extraordinary and important statement since “Painkiller.”
Halford discussed the absence of classic guitarists K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton, expressing admiration for Tipton’s guitar skills despite his Parkinson’s disease and acknowledging Downing’s permanent place in Priest.

Halford commended the current Priest lineup, highlighting Richie Faulkner’s contributions and Ian Hill’s bass playing, along with drummer Scott Travis’s performances.
Halford reflected on his vocal abilities after over 50 years of singing, crediting the band and fans for their support in helping him deliver strong performances.
Judas Priest’s album “Invincible Shield” achieved chart success, entering the U.K. chart at No. 2 and topping charts in Germany, Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland, among others.
