An “extremely rare” copy of Nirvana’s Nevermind album, signed by all three band members, sold for $24,620 at Wessex Auction Rooms.
The signatures of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic were collected after a 1991 gig at Bristol’s Bierkeller.
Nirvana was on the cusp of global stardom at the time of the signing, playing to a crowd of just 700 fans.
The album spent over 30 years tucked away in a loft before being sold at auction.
