Pink Floyd is previewing footage of a “Dark Side Of The Moon” classic from the restored 1972 “Live At Pompeii” concert film.
The YouTube clip shows Roger Waters in rare behind-the-scenes footage working on the track “On The Run” at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The film captures Pink Floyd performing in the ruins of the ancient Roman Amphitheatre in Italy without an audience, featuring songs like “Echoes” and “One Of These Days.”
The footage has been meticulously restored from the original 35mm cut negative found in Pink Floyd’s archives.
The project will appear in select cinemas and IMAX worldwide starting April 24.
