Zakk Wylde discussed the possibility of the reformed lineup of Pantera making new music, using cassette recordings of late guitarist Dimebag Darrell’s riffs and ideas.
Wylde said he’s open to creating new music with Philip Anselmo, Rex Brown, and Charlie Benante but emphasized that Pantera is defined by its original four members.
Before his death, late drummer Vinnie Paul had consistently dismissed the idea of a Pantera reunion without Dimebag Darrell.
