Hagar announced John Pruner’s passing on social media. Pruner was the original redheaded fan who coined the term ‘the Red Rocker’ for Sammy.
John Pruner was present at one of Sammy’s early shows and asked for an autograph the next morning, dubbing him ‘The Red Rocker’.
“He was the first guy that ever called me ‘The Red Rocker’,” Hagar shared in his post.
