Badfinger guitarist Joey Molland, the last surviving member of the band’s classic lineup, has died at the age of 77.
Molland was part of Badfinger during their commercial peak was in the early ’70s, with hits like “No Matter What,” “Day After Day,” and “Baby Blue.”
After Badfinger broke up after the tragic suicide of lead singer Pete Ham in 1975, Molland briefly formed the supergroup Natural Gas before later reviving Badfinger with Tom Evans.
He also released six solo albums, the most recent in 2020.
