Slipknot debuted a deep cut they’d never played live before at Knotfest Australia.
The band performed “Gematria (The Killing Name)” – a song Corey Taylor once swore they’d never play.
Taylor explained that the band’s reluctance to play “Gematria” was due to the circumstances of its recording, not the song’s quality. The setlist also included staples like “(sic)” and “People = S***”, Psychosocial,” “Duality,” and more.
Knotfest Australia 2025 will continue with shows in Brisbane and Sydney following the kickoff in Melbourne.
