Neil Young has announced a new live album, Coastal: The Soundtrack, focusing on performances from his 2023 solo tour.
Coastal, a documentary directed by Young’s wife Daryl Hannah about that 2023 trek, premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival last year.
The soundtrack serves as a companion album to the film, featuring 11 songs from Young’s songbook stripped down to vocals, piano, and guitar, including reimagined classics like “Vampire Blues,” “I Am a Child,” and “Comes a Time.”
Young will embark on his Love Earth Tour in 2025 across North America and Europe, including a headlining stop at Glastonbury and a just-announced London’s Hyde Park show.
