Slayer reunited for a handful of live shows last year – but don’t expect them to record a new album anytime soon.
Guitarist Kerry King shut that idea down during an appearance on the ‘Talk Louder’ podcast: “I can 99.9 percent give you a ‘no’ on that one.”
King says he has no need to make new music with Slayer because he has his own solo band: ” I just put these guys together. I’m not gonna abandon them.”
King’s debut solo album, From Hell I Rise, came out last year. Slayer will perform at this year’s Louder Than Life festival in September.
