The guys from Linkin Park have certainly seen success over the years, but how they celebrate that success has changed over the years.
When it comes to their 2000 debut “Hybrid Theory,” the band kept things modest.
In a 2003 interview with Q Magazine, the band shared what they purchased with their earnings from the multi-platinum album.
DJ Hahn bought toy robots, while bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell got a dog.
Former drummer Rob Bourdon said he had “fun shopping for food.”
As for guitarist Brad Delson: “I bought some fake diamond earrings for 28 dollars in Macy’s.”
Linkin Park’s “Hybrid Theory” would go on to sell 32 million copies worldwide.
