A Learjet 35A registered to a company associated with Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil was involved in a deadly accident at Scottsdale Municipal Airport on Monday (Feb. 10). Authorities confirm that one person was killed when the jet veered off the runway and collided with a Gulfstream 200 on the tarmac.
In addition to the fatality, one person was trapped inside a plane for an extended time, and three others were hospitalized with injuries. Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky acknowledged the tragedy, stating, “Scottsdale sadly experienced an aircraft accident at our airport.”
The Learjet is owned by Chromed In Hollywood, a Tennessee-based company registered in Wyoming, with Neil listed as a principal agent. It remains unclear whether Neil or any of his associates were on board.
The FAA is investigating, and updates are expected as more details emerge.
