Def Leppard released a new music video for their cover of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me” to raise money for those affected by the California wildfires.
The video includes footage of the band performing the song and clips of them shooting their cameo in the Netflix movie ‘Bank of Dave 2: The Lone Ranger.’
Proceeds from the song will be donated to FireAid to support those affected by the wildfires and to prevent future disasters.
‘Bank of Dave 2’ is a sequel to the 2023 Netflix film that follows the real-life story of Dave Fishwick setting up a community bank to help local businesses survive.
Def Leppard had a cameo in the original film and also appears in the sequel, which focuses on Dave taking on payday loan companies.
