Gojira’s epic performance from last year’s Olympic Games earned them a Grammy on Sunday night.
The French metal band won Best Metal Performance for their version of the 18th-century anthem “Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça Ira!)”.
The performance made headlines during the opening ceremony of last year’s Paris Olympics, when the band performed it outside the Conciergerie with dozens of headless Marie Antoinette puppets.
