Ozzy Osbourne and his Black Sabbath bandmates are set to receive the Freedom of Birmingham award.
In a new interview, his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne said Ozzy is very excited by the news and “it means a lot to him to be recognized [by] his home.”
Sharon explained, “He couldn’t be happier right now, it’s come at a great time for him.”
The Freedom of the City honor is given by a local council to a person in recognition of their exceptional service to the city.
