Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is keeping busy with his new band, Close Enemies. They just signed a record deal with TLG|ROCK, dropped their debut single “Sound of a Train,” and hit the road for a U.S. tour.
Close Enemies features some serious talent, including Tony Brock (The Babys), Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow), Trace Foster, and vocalist Chasen Hampton.
“We’re pumped to work with TLG/Virgin on this record,” Hamilton said. “They’re just as excited as we are, and we can’t wait to see what happens!”
While Aerosmith is on a break as Steven Tyler recovers, Hamilton hinted they might be back someday. Until then, Close Enemies is taking over, and their bluesy rock sound is worth a listen!
