Mastodon continues to reinvent themselves as a band, exploring multiple influences on their upcoming album.
Drummer/singer Brann Dallor told Metal Hammer the album is “all over the place” musically: “I hear some punk rock in there, but then I hear some insane prog and I hear the heaviest version of ourselves poking its head out again.”
Dallor also revealed the record will be a concept album about “supernatural horror”.
It will be out sometime in 2025.
