Guitar gods Joe Satriani and Steve Vai playing in the same band? It’s happening this summer.
The duo have teamed up to form the ‘SatchVai Band’ and announced the ‘Surfing With The Hydra’ tour, which will travel across Europe this summer.
Satriani and Vai have toured together countless times, most notably on the various G3 tours – but this will be the first time they’ve shared the stage for an entire set.
Satriani wrote “Every time we play together, it takes me back to when we were teenagers, eating and breathing music every second of the day, pushing, challenging, and helping each other to be the best we could be. I guess we’ve never stopped!”
