Another huge rock band has sold off their song catalog for a massive payday.
It’s Pink Floyd, who reportedly sold its catalog and name and likeness rights to Sony for a whopping $400 million.
The deal has been in the works for a long time and involved multiple bidders. It also, unsurprisingly, involved a clash between bandmates David Gilmour and Roger Waters.
The deal has not yet been confirmed by either Pink Floyd or Sony, which has also purchased song catalogs from Queen, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan.
