Imagine hanging out at your local bar during open mic night when a member of one of the biggest rock bands in history takes the stage.
That’s exactly what happened this week at the Neptune pub in Hove, England, when Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour joined his daughter Romany for a performance of “Wish You Were Here”.
Romany was already on stage when her famous dad entered the pub, joking “You are going to come and upstage me? – ok great…”
Gilmour posted a photo to Facebook, writing “Very much enjoyed crashing Romany Gilmour’s gig at the Neptune in Hove this evening after finishing tour rehearsals.”
Romany plays harp and sings on Gilmour’s just-released solo album Luck and Strange.
