Some might consider ‘hair metal’ to be a disparaging term – but not Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy.
Pearcy recently said on X that while the term annoys some of his peers, “it doesn’t bother me in the least”.
He writes “I’ll embrace the tag 40 years later. Hey, it identifies you into the 80’s genre forever.”
