Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello is sharing a new solo single, “Soldier In The Army Of Love.”
The song, which was co-written with his son Roman Morello, is being described by Tom as “a generational rock anthem from the Morellos.”
The song is the first single from Tom’s first-ever full-length solo rock album, due out later in the year.
The guitarist explained, “That’s a shredding guitar solo on [‘Soldier In The Army Of Love’]. I wish I could say it was me. During lockdown, when everybody else was baking bread, [my son Roman] was putting in his eight hours a day. So I’ve been relegated to be the rhythm guitar player in the family now.”
