Now here’s a rock’n’roll collaboration you weren’t expecting: Brian May and The Offspring.
The Queen guitarist joined The Offspring over the weekend at the Starmus VII festival in Slovakia, playing “Gone Away” and a cover of Queen’s “Stone Cold Crazy”.
What do both bands have in common? Science! May is an astrophysicist, while Offspring frontman Dexter Holland has a Ph.D. in molecular biology.
Starmus is billed as “the world’s largest science, music and other arts festival”.
