The Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist recently posted to X “feel like such an idiot for smashing my bass to pieces on stage back in the day, pathetic.”
It’s not clear what brought on this moment of self-reflection from Flea. But bass-smashing was pretty mild compared to some of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ on-stage antics back in the day.
