Apparently, Tommy Lee has partying powers that go beyond those of mortal men.

In an appearance on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, the Mötley Crüe drummer says he went through a period in which he drank two gallons of vodka every day.

“Alcohol’s such a weird one,” he said. “Because it’s easy to fall in love with, the way it makes you feel, the way it makes you relax, and then all of a sudden you’re, like, ‘I’m drinking two gallons of vodka a day’ Your liver is on crutches at that point; it’s just barely functioning.”

When asked to confirm the number, Lee replied, “Yeah. Two gallons. I swear to God.”

In spite of Lee’s recollection, Alcohol.org reveals the “lethal dose” of alcohol for a 132-pound person is one liter.

While Lee may weigh more than that, it should be noted that two gallons is equal to more than 7.5 liters.
