Italian glam-rockers Måneskin are unleashing lasers and drones in the video for their new single “Honey (Are U Coming?)”
The single dropped last week ahead of the band’s just-launched ‘Rush!’ tour. Bay Area fans can see Måneskin perform at the Oakland Arena on Friday, October 13, 2023.
According to the band, the song came to life when they wanted to make new material after they finished the first run on live shows.
“We wrote the song right after the last tour, we still had a lot of energy from the touring and the traveling. We wrote it in between London and LA,” said bassist Victoria De Angelis. “We’re really happy with the result and we think it’s something quite new for us.”
“It’s the story of someone who has no gender or anything; you decide whoever it is. Find someone else and they can see in their eyes that there’s some sadness that they feel out of place and it’s an invitation from one person to another to join them into this new adventure without knowing what they’re actually going to find, but just enjoy the adventure,” said frontman Damiano David.
Måneskin is nominated in the “Best Rock” category for their single “The Loneliest” at the MTV VMAs. The band is also set to perform at the award show on September 12th.
