Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen is updating fans a month after he was attacked in Florida.
Allen shared a new social media post to reveal that he is still recovering from the injuries he sustained.
He wrote, “Thank you all so very much for all of your love and support over the last month. I am still recovering and getting my mind and body ready for the upcoming Def Leppard tour. Just wanted to say hi and let you know, There Will Be Rock!”
Allen suffered injuries when the suspect struck and knocked him backward, causing his head hit the ground.
In March, Allen thanked fans for their “overwhelming support” stating, “Your love and prayers are truly helping. We ask you to join us in our effort to move from confusion and shock to compassion and empathy.”
The 19-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts of battery, four counts of criminal mischief, and abusing an elderly or disabled adult.
