Billy Joel fans are buzzing about the Piano Man’s special guest at his performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday night.
Thirteen songs into the show, Joel welcomed Billy Gibbons to the stage.
“From a Billy to a Billy,” Gibbons said to Joel. “He’s almost got it. Can I have a guitar?” The ZZ Top legend then played “La Grange” and “Tush” with Joel.
Billy Joel is performing his monthly residency at Madison Square Garden in between his shows with Stevie Nicks. Nicks and Joel recently performed their “Two Icons One Night” show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 10, 2023. Their next show will be at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 8, 2023.
