The Rolling Stones Team up With Surviving Members of the Beatles for New Album

Although the Beatles and the Rolling Stones may have been musical rivals in the 1960s, apparently it’s true that time heals all wounds.

The Beatles’ Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have joined the Stones’ Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood in the studio to record the latter’s first album of new music since 2005, Variety reports.

McCartney’s bass tracks have already been recorded, according to the publication. However, it’s unclear whether McCartney and Starr will appear on the same tracks.

A release date for the as-yet-untitled album has not been announced.
