Ace Frehley Performs KISS Song During Tour Opener

It may be 21 years since Ace Frehley last performed with KISS, but you wouldn’t know it from the guitarist’s tour opener last week in Bristol, Tennessee.

Frehley kicked off the show, which was staged at the Paramount Center for the Arts, with the 1974 KISS song “Parasite”.

The show also featured the Dressed to Kill track “Getaway,” Music From the Elder’s “Escape from the Island” and Hotter than Hell’s “Let Me Go, Rock ‘n’ Roll.” The performance marked the first time Frehley played the latter two songs live.

That’s not to say all of KISS’ Frehley-fronted songs were represented at the concert. Noticeably missing from the set list were “Stutter,” “Hard Times,” “Strange Ways” and “She.”

Watch the performance here. Would people be interested in seeing Ace Frehley if he didn’t perform KISS songs in concert? Share your opinions on 107.7 The Bone’s Facebook or Twitter page.
