Woman Tries To Bring Emotional Support Snake On Plane

Well, security screeners at Tampa International airport spotted a surprise while scanning a suitcase through an x-ray machine: a 4-foot-long boa constrictor. The passenger told TSA officers the boa was her “emotional support pet”. The agency confirmed that no airlines allow snakes in carry-on luggage. However, a few airlines allow snakes in checked luggage if they are packaged correctly. I think we can all agree that these so-called “Emotional Support Pets” are getting out of hand and here to share his opinion on the matter is our new Travel editor.
