Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Nikki Blakk as On-Air Host, Afternoon Drive for Bay Area Classic Rock station, 107.7 The Bone/KSAN-FM. Blakk, a Bay Area native, started her radio broadcasting career while a student at San Francisco State University when she interned for 107.7 The Bone. She has since held on-air positions at Rock 96.7/KMRQ-FM in Modesto, CA, KSJO-FM in San Jose, CA, 101.7 The Fox in Santa Rosa, CA, and at 107.7 The Bone, where she spent a decade behind the microphone. In 2015, Blakk’s career took her to the concerts and touring arena, where she was most recently Road Manager for Jackson Browne.

Blakk will be heard on 107.7 The Bone beginning Monday, December 5th, and airs weekdays from 2:00pm-7:00pm.

Chasta Michaelis, Program Director, 107.7 The Bone, said: “Nikki has a long and important history with KSAN, spending 10 years at the station previously. I’m confident she will bring a great deal of experience, knowledge, passion, and familiarity to The Bonehead Family. We are very excited about the future with Nikki Blakk back at The Bone.”

Nikki Blakk commented: “When I left radio in 2015, it was always my intention to return. I had intended to do it sooner, but better late than never! I am looking forward to reuniting with my Bonehead Family and coming home to where it all began, and where I belong, 107.7 The Bone.”
