After 25 years of marriage, Metallica frontman James Hetfield and his wife are calling it quits.
Quoting “sources close to the couple,” TMZ reports Hetfield filed for divorce from Francesca Hetfield earlier this year in their home state of Colorado. Neither has commented on the report.
The two had been together since 1992 and married since 1997. They have three children together: Cali, 20; Castor, 18; and Marcella, 16.
