Slipknot is sharing a new song.
In a new interview, frontman Corey Taylor said the tune, “Yen,” is one of his favorites.
He explained, “‘Yen’ is probably one of my favorite songs that we’ve ever done. It’s such a great, cool departure for us because there are very Slipknot elements to it, but then some of the music is touching our inner Tom Waits in weird ways, you know? It’s cool, but then there’s almost a Type O Negative approach to it. I think people are going to f*cking dig it when they hear it.”
The band’s upcoming seventh record, ‘The End, So Far,’ will be out on September 30.
