Pink Floyd are known for their striking – and sometimes confusing – album covers. But did you know that one of them features a secret appearance by Marvel’s Dr. Strange?
The band’s 1968 album A Saucerful of Secrets uses an image from a Dr. Strange comic – and Doc himself can be spotted on the right side of the cover.
Saucerful of Secrets was the first album cover ever made by Hipgnosis – the British art group that designed most of Floyd’s album covers, as well as covers for artists like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel, ELO, and Paul McCartney.
