Apparently, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett aren’t the only big-name acts taking part in “The Stadium Tour.” Eddie Van Halen has been making onstage appearances at each of the tour’s stops — in spirit, anyway.

As part of Poison’s set, guitarist C.C. DeVille has been channeling the late musician by playing a note-for-note version of Van Halen’s instrumental classic, “Eruption.” DeVille says he does it to pay tribute to Van Halen, who died in 2020.

“The Stadium Tour” arrives in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, followed by a stop in Flushing, New York on Friday.

What was Eddie Van Halen’s most impressive guitar solo?
