Vicky Cornell, widow of late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, posted a heartfelt tribute to her husband last Sunday, on what would have been their 18th wedding anniversary.

Along with a series of wedding and family photos, Vicky wrote: “It is a bittersweet day, it always is, but today even more so as it is falls on Mother’s Day.” She added “My love for you will never fade or change- and today me and your babies thank our lucky stars you were ours.

Vicky is currently locked in a series of legal battles with the remaining members of Soundgarden over the rights to the final recordings made by Chris before his death in 2017.

Do you know anyone who had to deal with losing a spouse too soon?
