The guys in Megadeth pulled a real ‘dad’ move while on tour in Texas – stopping by a museum to tour a World War II ship.

Ahead of their concert in Corpus Christi, Dave Mustaine and bassist James LoMenzo got a personal tour of the USS Lexington – the former WWII aircraft carrier that was converted into a museum in 1992.

Friend of the band Reggie Almeda posted a two-part video of the tour, while the museum posted some photos of Megadeth’s visit.

Megadeth is currently on tour with Trivium and Lamb of God on the ‘Metal Tour of the Year’.

What’s the farthest you’ve ever travled for a museum visit?
