Even though today many nerds will be tuning into Disney+ for the highly anticipated finale for Moon Knight, Dave Filoni and the House of Mouse wanted to remind you of the epic Star Wars series coming at the end of the month today.

Today, being May the Fourth, or Star Wars Day, an official trailer for the upcoming series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” has officially been released giving us some more footage and more detail into what is going to happen in the six part series. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” stars Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the legendary Jedi Master from the prequel series. Also reprising their role will be Hayden Christensen, who was Anakin Skywalker who later became Darth Vader.

We still don’t know too much about the series, but what we do get out of the new trailer is that Obi-Wan argues with Luke’s Uncle Owen about preparing Luke to be a Jedi,  that Obi-Wan is on the run from the Inquisitors, a group of force sensitive individuals trained by Darth Vader in the way of the dark side to hunt down the remaining Jedi, and that Obi-Wan will come face to face with his former apprentice. Let me know what you think and if you are as excited as I am for the upcoming show.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” begins streaming with episodes 1 & 2 on Friday May 27th on Disney+.

May the Force be with you \m/,
