Slash Brings a “Human Element” Back to the Studio Record, With Chasta

Chasta, mornings and middays on 107.7 The Bone interviews Slash ahead of the release of his solo album “4,” featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.

They start the interview by reminiscing on the iconic rock clubs, like the Rainbow Club and Whiskey in Los Angeles, and how we “need to roll out the red carpet and get more rock n roll joints.” Slash adds that he hilariously meet Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister randomly one night after he hit on his girlfriend when he went to the restroom.

After years of debauchery with Guns N’ Roses, Slash shares that he wakes up no later than 8:30am every morning, before heading to the gym to start his day. When asked what his workout specialty is, he’s jokes that he’s a “hate working out guy”. But it helps jumpstart his day into a grounding mindset to take on whatever comes his way. This new record is a direct reflection of just “chasing the next step,” which was recorded live.

Slash’s new album “4” drops on February 11th and he’ll be celebrating the release the following day, February 12th, when Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirator’s hits The Warfield. Tickets are available here.
