Most people buy an album for its music, but not Sebastian Bach.

The former Skid Row singer recently revealed in an interview why he first bought Metallica’s ‘Kill ‘Em All.’

“I was flipping through, and I saw METALLICA ‘Kill ‘Em All’, and it didn’t have a picture on the front,” Bach explained. “So I picked it up, turned it around and I looked at the picture on the back of ‘Kill ‘Em All’ and I go, ‘Holy f**k. These are the ugliest [bunch of guys] I’ve ever seen in my life.'”

“And I bought it right there because I thought they looked so terrible,” Bach added. “I go, ‘This is the craziest s**t I’ve ever seen.'”

Have you ever bought an album without knowing any of the music on it? Was it a success? Do you think artwork is an important factor in buying an album?
