We have a pretzel incident on our hands, folks.

According to an exchange on Instagram, Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, threw a pretzel at a 49ers fan and had to be escorted to another area of Levi’s Stadium during Monday’s game, as first reported by TMZ.

“I’m an idiot,” Kelly wrote in response to the comment. “He was saying a bunch of things that were aggressive towards our crew but zero excuse.

“I tried to apologize, but in the end knew I was wrong. Will always stand up for my guy and everyone I love, but obviously needed to do it completely different. I’m embarrassed too! Sorry you had to witness me in my weak moment.”

Sounds like it was a frustrating night for both Staffords. The Rams quarterback had one of his worst games of the season, throwing two picks in the 31-10 loss.
